Friday April 16th 7:30pm, A talk from Cornwall AS. One of our friends from Cornwall AS will give a talk on a subject not yet decided. Watch this space for further details.

Sunday May 9th, For the first of our summer weekend events, Mike will again challenge us with another Geocaching outing. This time, as well trying to survive the inevitable downpours, we will be set some homework of an astronomy theme which will enable us to solve the clues and find the caches he will put out in the Minions area. The usual gastronomic side show will also be available in a local hostelry.
Friday May 21st 7:30pm, A talk by Glynn Bennallick, subject to be confirmed.
June
Sunday June 6th, For our next summer outing, Frank will organise another 'historical' day, this time in West Cornwall. There will be a walk and exploration of a local stone circle, followed by a visit to the Iron Age settlement of Chysauster.
Friday June 18th, 'Space Flight - How do they do that?' Phil Brotherwood will take a look at what it takes to put a vehicle into space.
July
Sunday July 11th, Goonhilly. Although Goonhilly has now downsized, it still carries communications traffic via its fibre optic network. Our day out will take in its history and heritage, science and technology and, for the more adventurous, maybe even a Segway tour.
Friday July 16th, Members of Callington AS will visit and provide us with a talk - more details later.
August
Saturday August 15th, Bar-B-Que and Persied meteor watch. Glynn has again volunteered Maria to put on another of her wonderful BBQs and if the weather is right we will follow that up with a session of lying in the grass watching the Persied meteor shower.
